Yoga Class Descriptions

Flow 2 Stretch - 1 Hour

This class combines two styles of yoga - Yang and Yin. The Yang portion of the class will be the Vinyasa-style heat-building sequence. Yang targets muscles and blood flow improving flexibility, circulation while simultaneously toning the entire body. Yin targets connective tissues; tendons, ligaments, and fascia. It improves flexibility and joint mobility, calms the mind and body reducing stress and anxiety.

 

Yin helps the body to release old tension and trauma deeply rooted in our muscles and connective tissues. This class is a great way to prepare for meditation and to add self-care into daily life. Beginners are welcome.

Yang 2 Yin - 1 Hour 30 Min

This class is a 90 minute transformative yoga experience that combines the dynamic energy yang-style yoga with the introspective & calming qualities of yin yoga. The first half we will focus on yang elements of yoga, incorporating flowing sequences & strength building postures to energize & build heat in the body. This portion of the practice will cultivate strength, endurance, and vitality while releasing tension and stress.

 

The second half we will transition into the yin phase. This is where we start to slow down and shift our focus inwards. We will explore longer holds & passive poses 1-5 minutes to release tension and open the body.  Breathwork & guided mediation will also be integrated. This class aims to leave you feeling grounded, centered, and rejuvenated, providing a harmonious blend of effort & ease. 

Beginners are welcome

Pilates & Yoga - 1 Hour

This class is a dynamic and invigorating practice that blends the fluid movements of vinyasa & toning principles of of Pilates. By combining these two disciplines you will experience a full-body workout that targets both small and large muscle groups, ultimately leading to improved strength , flexibility and overall body awareness. In addition, the transformative power of these two modalites combined increases mental well being. This class is open to all levels and provides modifications to accommodate individual needs.
